The CW television network comes out with its newest fantasy drama romance television series in the form of “Beauty and the Beast”. This newest CW series is going to be aired every Thursday nights with a 9pm timeslot but that is not what’s exciting about it. What is more exciting about the series is the fact that Kristin Kreuk will be part of it as she comes back to work for the television network. The CW also announced that the show will be paired with a lot of upcoming series continuations such as The Vampire Diaries and Smallville.
According to the CW President Mark Pedowitz, he said that Beauty and the Beast takes a classic love story and adds a procedural element. While “The Secret Circle” didn’t survive more than one year after the excellence of The Vampire Diaries and “B&B’s” supernatural element and CW royalty make the two shows a perfect match in theory. If you are familiar with the original story of Beauty and the Beast, then you will see that this new series is somewhat different from the other because it has a different story but with similar characters. In here, the story revolves around the character of Detective Catherine Chandler, a smart no-nonsense homicide detective who, when she was still a teenager, witness the murder of her mother at the hands of two gunmen. Catherine would have been killed too, but someone saved her and he is going to search for this man.
